Unit artifact
This artifact is a cladogram which is used to show relations between organisms. This cladogram was part of the evolution unit from the summative as we were to make a cladogram of a chosen species past along with adding one in the future with traits it would need to survive. This artifact has significant to me as I worked really hard on this to make it accurate as possible according to my research. It helped me understand the species better and where they come from. From this activity, I learned how species are organized onto a cladogram making it easier to understand and visually view the evolution of the species take place. Along with how to show the similar and different traits the species have between each other. Cladograms can be applied in the real world as scientists use cladograms like these to see how all species have evolved including us humans. They can also be used to determine traits species will lose/gain in the future and how species today will evolve. This artifact can help understand the evolution unit better as we see how many changes a species have gone through in the past few years and how new traits are developed and some are lost to be able to adapt to the environment.
